Connectivity data is processed for the purpose of providing and delivering the website. With the pure purpose of delivering and allocation of the website, the data is, however, not stored beyond this point.

The legal basis for the data processing is the absolute technical necessity for the provision and delivery of the ‘website’ service expressly requested by you, by calling up the website in accordance with § 96 Para. 3 TKG.

In order to operate the website, the connectivity data and other personal data are additionally processed within the scope of various other functions or rather, services. Detailed information on this is provided in this data protection declaration regarding the individual functions and services.

Server Logfiles

Each time a data subject or automated system accesses our website, several general data and information is collected. This general data and information are stored in the log files of the server. The following can be recorded: (1) the type of browser and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrer), (4) the sub-websites that are accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of access to the Internet site, (6) an Internet Protocol (IP) address, (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system, and (8) other similar data and information serving the purpose of security in case of attacks on the information technology systems.

When using this general data and information, no conclusions are drawn about the person concerned. This information is required instead to (1) deliver the contents of our website correctly, (2) optimise the contents of our website and the advertising for it, (3) ensure the permanent functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website and (4) to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for criminal prosecution in case of a cyber-attack. These anonymously collected data and information are therefore statistically evaluated by ‘web-crossing GmbH’ on the one hand and also with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in the company on the other, in order to ultimately ensure an optimal level of protection for the processed personal data. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by the person in question.

The duration of storage is limited to 6 months.

The legal basis for the data processing is the absolute technical necessity of a server log file as a basic basis of data for error analysis and for security measures within the scope of the ‘website’ service, expressly requested by it being invoked in accordance with § 96 Para. 3 TKG.

Contact form

On our website you have the possibility to contact us directly by making use of a contact form. After sending the contact form, the personal data entered by you will be processed by the person responsible for processing your enquiry which is based on the consent given by you through sending the form in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO until it is revoked.

There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide the personal data. Failure to provide it merely means that you will not be able to send your request and that therefore we will not be able to process it.

Online reservation for ski rental

On our website you have the possibility to make an online reservation in our ski rental shop. After sending off the form, the personal data you have entered will be processed by the person responsible for processing the order which is based on the consent given by you by sending the form, in accordance with art. 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the DSGVO.

There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. Failure to do so merely results in our inability to carry out the reservation.

The transmitted data will be filed in paper form after the order processing (return) until the end of the ski season and then it will be deleted afterwards.

Online shop

We offer you the possibility to purchase courses directly through our online shop. Within the framework of the online shop, the data you have entered, as well as data on course offers selected by you will be processed by the person responsible for the execution of the offer, the conclusion of the contract, the fulfilment of the contract as well as for the fulfilment of possible post-contractual obligations before the conclusion of the contract on the basis of the pre-contractual relationship initiated by you, and after the conclusion of the contract, on the basis of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b DSGVO.

The processing of your personal data shall continue until the expiry of the statutory storage obligations.

There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data. However, providing your personal data is necessary to make a contract. The consequence of not providing the data is that we are unable to make a contract.

The contents of shopping baskets are deleted after 14 days at the latest. Contract data will be processed until the limitation period of possible post-contractual obligations expires.

The ‘Sofort bank transfer’ of the ‘SOFORT GmbH’ (a company of the Klarna Group) is available as a payment option for online bookings. SOFORT GmbH provides its services directly to the customer (end customer) and not to the ski school freeride-alpin GmbH. The latter only receives confirmation of the payment.

Right of appeal

If the processing of your personal data is based on a legitimate interest, you have the right to object to this processing.

Unless there are no compelling or legitimate grounds for processing on our part, the processing of your data will be stopped on the basis of this legal requirement.

The lawfulness of the data processed up to a point of disagreement is not affected by the right of appeal.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to revoke any previously given consent at any time.

The lawfulness of the data processed until revocation, is not and will not be affected by the withdrawal.

Rights of the persons affected

You also have the right of access, rectification, cancellation and limitation of the processing of personal data.

If the legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent or a contract made with you, you also have the right of transferability of data.

Furthermore, you have the right to complain to the regulatory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
